Creating a New Wallet

When generating a new wallet, two key pairs are created: a PUBLIC KEY and a PRIVATE KEY. The PUBLIC KEY is your wallet address, where funds can be sent to you and can be shared with others. The PRIVATE KEY is the secret code for unlocking your wallet; you use it to open your wallet and should not share it with anyone.

On the wallet page, click the "New Wallet" button. A window will appear:

Click the "Continue" button.

A window will appear with the generated PUBLIC KEY and PRIVATE KEY:

Be sure to write down both keys (PUBLIC KEY and PRIVATE KEY) and keep them in a safe place!

Opening a wallet

Click the "Open Wallet" button and a window will appear:

In this window, click the "Open the wallet" button, and a window for entering the PRIVATE KEY will appear:

In this window you need to enter your PRIVATE KEY starting with "S" and click the "Open" button. After that, you will be taken to the Wallet interface:

Before using your wallet, you need to top up its balance by at least 1 XLM.
